I've seen this flowchart before and find it very useful. Just one question: World of Cross Stitching recently published a statement saying that it was perfectly ok to chart a poster (in this case the poster for The Phantom of the Opera musical) as long as it was for your own use and would not be sold (chart or finished design). But, because I knew of your flowchart I was pretty sure that was wrong. Reading it again today, I can see that's correct.
I have converted two such pictures (films stars) for my personal use - although one of them I am currently waiting for permission from the film studio (won't hold my breath).
